Keller Williams Band - Live Tonight - Free Stream of Show

from iClips..
Tune in to iClips.net on Wednesday, 9/24 for an exclusive webcast of the Keller Williams w/Moseley, Droll & Sipe concert at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison, WI. Cornmeal will be opening the show, and their set will also be broadcast on iClips.

The show will begin at approximately 8pm CST, with Keller hitting the stage around 9:30pm. No matter where you are located, you’ll have the best seat in the house as iClips delivers the excitement of KW’s live performance right into your home!

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Keller Williams is literally a one-man jam band. His fascinating live shows feature him solo on-stage with a Gibson Echoplex Digital Pro looping unit, and he creates his backing loops in the moment, building and improvising as he goes on his custom-made ten-string guitar, and thanks to his equally as quirky, upbeat, and semi-surreal songs (which he frequently weaves into extended, half-improvised medleys) and his warm, friendly tenor singing voice, Williams is an utterly unique performer whose musical eccentricities don't keep him from being immediately accessible.

A Christmas Time Surprise!

Ahh, The Slip. My favorite band? Yes. Sometimes. Talented musicians, craftsmen of their art? Yes. All of the time. But the Slip can be even more that.
Besides ruling the universe...at least
my universe The Slip are often joined on stage by Nathan Moore to form the Slpendiforously Fantastic Surprise Me Mr. Davis.
Those of you that know what I'm talking about, well, you know what I'm talking about! But for those of you who know not of what I speak. DON'T TRIP! Your ass(es) is in luck.
TONIGHT Surprise Me Mr. Davis is playing in S.F. and the concert will be offered as a FREE webcast! The show starts @9 with an opening set from The Sensations (feat. Greg Loiacono of The Mother Hips). Surprise Me Mr. Davis gets going @10 and you comfortably melt into your computer screen sometime around 11!

Peaceblaster

STS9 is more than my favorite band. They're good people. They've always found a way to share their success with others...artists, d.j.'s, fellow musicians. They've also consistently supported many worthwhile organizations and causes including Head Count and especially Conscious Alliance.
Now they've invested their efforts into a new site, Peaceblaster.
"Peaceblaster is a database of links, organizations, documentaries, books and ideas geared toward raising awareness and creating a platform to organize, participate in and debate the pressing issues of our day."

Blumpkin?

Hmm. Not sure about the difference between a 'Hot Carl' and a 'Cleveland Steamer'? Well, trust me, there is a difference. Learn all about it and plenty more at UrbanDictionary.com

Virtual Moonwalk...Seriously

Man..I fucking love Google. They've just relaunched Google Moon with "Street View" on-surface panoramic NASA photos from the astronaut's perspective. Google's Lat Long blog explains:
"This update brings higher-resolution map imagery, text search, and photos and stories from every Apollo landing. We even included Street View-style panoramas of the moon's surface, taken by the Apollo astronauts ... something you won't see anywhere else. And last but certainly not least, we tossed in scientific charts that are good enough for actual mission planning and science classrooms alike."

uh...cool
